Energy Bites

This past weekend I had the itch to make some delicious snacks, so I whipped up some granola balls that are a great alternative to store bought granola snack bars. This recipe was so simple and easy to make with staple items you may have in your pantry on the regular. Here’s how I made them!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 2tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Combine peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, and honey in a large bowl. Mix in oats, salt, chia seeds, and white chocolate chips. Once ingredients are combined well, scoop about 1 tbsp of mixture and roll into a ball. Place bite size balls in a parchment or wax paper lined dish, cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

I hope you enjoy this quick and easy recipe as much as we did. Let me know in the comments below how you tried it and what you added to make it your own!
